Sunday NHL Plays Of The Day

Yesterday was the final day of the regular season.  It came down to the wire in the Western Conference for the 8th playoff spot.  Chicago could have clinched the final playoff spot, but lost to the Red Wings in regulation.  This left Dallas with an opportunity to move on if they won in regulation or OT.  They looked pretty good until the 3rd when they allowed...

Adam Foote Plays His Last NHL Game

Today Avalanche Defenceman Adam Foote skated in his final NHL game.  17 of the years with the Nordiques/Avalanche and 2 with Columbus.  He was selected 22nd in the 1989 draft by the Quebec Nordiques.  He is retiring with 259 points, 2 Stanley Cups,  and 170 playoff games.  He will be missed.  Leave your comments...
